The duration of the Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practices of Dental Nursing is 12-18 months depending on the learning pace of the candidate.

How You Will Learn

Lessons will be attended twice a month with each lesson lasting up to 6 hours per session. Presentations are a combination of face-to-face and virtual activities. This offers the learners some flexibility as the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing requires learners to be working in general dental surgery for a minimum of 16 hours a week as part of their requirement to meet the clinical experience and exposure whilst on the course. Assessment for the dental nursing course is done by both Internal (assignment, mocks and clinical observation) and External (MCQ) processes.
